My girlfriend said I was missing an epic sunset, so I drove like a bat out of hell home and managed to capture this photo of the Space Needle. This is easily my favorite photo I have captured since I have moved to Seattle. This photo also was shared by Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and featured on ABC News and Good Morning America and was my first million plus photo. I already have a 36x24 print on my wall and love it.
Matt McDonald is a photographer and new media entrepreneur based in Seattle, Washington. After 10 years working for The Bellingham Herald as a photojournalist, Online Project Manager and Multimedia Editor he moved to Seattle and the commercial world where he is now a professional photographer and multimedia designer. He still freelances for newspapers and magazines and takes up to three weddings per year and 10 portraits sessions along with pursuing his own fine art and video projects.
